The Colombian defender Jherson Mosquera, suspended, will not be in the Rosario team led by Gabriel Heinze, and the Uruguayan Armando Méndez will enter in his place, and his best player, striker Brian Aguirre, will not be included in the Argentine Under 20 team, who will be replaced by Jeremías Pérez Tica or Jonathan Menéndez.
In addition, “Gringo” Heinze awaits the recovery of defender Facundo Mansilla, who is recovering from a muscle injury, and could return to the team in place of Guillermo Ortiz, while Bruno Pittón or Ángelo Martino will play on the left side.
Beyond the irregularity that it shows in the domestic tournament, Newell’s is the Argentine team with the best performance in the Copa Sudamericana, in which it leads Group E
The Rosarios are favorites against Arsenal, who after the defeat they suffered last date against Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata was left without DT, since Carlos Ruiz was fired, so that the team will be led on an interim basis by Darío “Cafú” spinola
The record between the two is 31 games and favors “Ñuls” with 10 wins against 8 for Arsenal, plus 13 draws.
