A few days after the first anniversary of Elden Ring, its developer From Software has announced that it is working on an expansion for this popular game. It will be called Shadow of the Erdtree.
The Japanese study has shared a first conceptual image of this long-awaited continuation on social networks. Although no other information has yet been revealed -nor its release date-, the news has been welcomed on social networks by the community of fans of this title.
The title Shadow of the Erdtree (something like “The Shadow of the Golden Tree”) offers few clues as to what players will be able to find in this expansion, although it does directly allude to one of the most iconic elements of the adventure set in The Lands. Intermediate.
The announcement of this additional content comes just days after From Software announced that Elden Ring has sold 20 million copies since its release on February 25, 2022.
