More than a year ago José Toledo, known by his streamer name Tole, announced that he had gastric cancer. Since then he never gave up hope for being better, but unfortunately last Thursday night he passed away at the age of 32.

This was announced by Gemita, her colleague and friend, through Twitter this Friday. As is always the case in this type of case, the community has filled the networks with messages of love, from fans to the largest content creators.

“Tole left us last night and his family has asked me to tell you, they are very grateful for all the love you have given him during all this time and they want you to know that he loved you very much. It is a very hard time in which privacy of the family is the most important thing,” Gemita wrote on the social network.

In June 2021, he spoke clearly and openly about the illness he had been diagnosed with. He confessed that there was very little hope of survival and that the doctors had given him only a few months to live. “I know my days are numbered, but I plan to enjoy them all,” he said in an interview.

The community has filled the network with condolences.

The entire community has turned to him and they have begun to share photos with the young man at different events. From fans and followers to great content creators, they have turned to share the feeling of loss that Tole has left behind.

    Communication and football

    passionate about sports

Tole’s content was very focused on sports. The Valencian had come to play as a goalkeeper in regional clubs such as Cheste and once stated that the highest category in which he had competed had been the Third Division.

His passion for football ended up taking him to the field of communication and he began to generate content on Twitch and on different social networks such as Twitter, where he was quite active and where he was telling the evolution of his illness.

Tole had more than 100,000 followers on Twitch and the support of these made it possible for him to dedicate himself to directing very frequently. In addition to playing FIFA live, he was on the well-known role-playing server Marbella Vice, whose official account has posted a message saying goodbye to him and his character.

Throughout Thursday afternoon, his followers have been connected to Tole’s chat, offline, and have been sending their farewell messages and giving each other support in these difficult times for those who loved him.

The young man had a very active community that had always shown him a lot of love. His followers were supporting him until the last moments and now they are filling the networks with beautiful tokens of love for the content creator.
