The Supreme Committee visited the AFA premises
A delegation from the Supreme Committee for the Delivery and Legacy of the Qatar 2022 World Cup visited the authorities of the Argentine Football Association (AFA) at the Ezeiza venue to discuss organizational issues of the competition with 36 days to go before the opening match at the Al Bayt Stadium.
The Qatari executives, on tour in Latin America through the countries qualified for the FIFA World Cup, were received by the pro-secretary Luciano Nakis, with whom they exchanged gifts, it was officially reported.
The members of the Supreme Committee presented him with the official World Cup medal and took away shirts from the Argentine national team with number 10 and Lionel Messi’s number.

The spotlight on the fans
Among the topics discussed was the strong presence of Argentine fans during the month of competition, from November 20 to December 18, a fact that can be verified with the purchase of all the tickets for the three matches of the first phase against Saudi Arabia, Mexico and Poland.
By the way, the members of the Supreme Committee were also meeting with a group of fans of the “Albiceleste” that will travel to the first Cup to be held in the Arab World.
