The 25-year-old man accused of having shot to death last Thursday Rocío Magalí González, a young woman with whom he worked in an alarm sales and monitoring store in Saladillo who had denounced him for harassment and mistreatment, was arrested this Tuesday, after spending almost five days in hiding, in a field located between that Buenos Aires city and La Flores, reported judicial and police sources.
Is about Renzo Eduardo Chidichimo (25)who was located this Tuesday at dawn, after 1, in the vicinity of the La Vanguardia field, located on provincial route 51, between Saladillo and Las Flores.
The man was wanted both by the Saladillo police and in neighboring towns by numerous police officers who were combing the area.
The sources detailed that, to prevent incidents in Saladillo, Chidichimo will be housed at the Rauch police station, at the disposal of the prosecutor in charge of the case, Patricia Hortel, who will investigate it.
The femicide occurred last Thursday at the local Carletti Serviciosa firm dedicated to the sale of home monitoring and alarm systems, located at 2832 Frocham Street, in that city in the southwest of the province of Buenos Aires.
According to the sources consulted by Télam, Chidichimo arrived at the premises outside of his working hours, around 2:00 p.m., and went directly to a room where the monitoring of the security cameras is carried out and where Rocío worked.
shot and escaped
Without saying a word, Chidichimo drew a 9-millimeter Bersa pistol and fired at least seven times in the direction of González, who was seriously injured.
After the attack, the young man escaped, while the victim was transferred to the local sanatorium, where he died.

Judicial spokespersons indicated that the victim had filed a complaint against Chidichimo at the end of 2022 and another in May of this year for mistreatment, workplace harassment and psychological violence.
“The complaints were made at the women’s police station, but they were before the civil, not criminal, for this reason the proceedings were referred to a Justice of the Peace, which took precautionary measures,” prosecutor Hortel explained to the press.

One of the measures adopted was the change in Chidichimo’s working hours, to prevent them from crossing the premises, and, in addition, police spokesmen indicated that there was a perimeter of restriction between the two.
Meanwhile, the investigators reconstructed that Chidichimo arrived and fled from the crime scene on a 110-cylinder motorcycle, which he later abandoned in a field about ten kilometers away and, from there, followed the escape on foot.
An aunt of the murdered young woman told the press that the man now detained threatened Rocío two days before the crime, telling her to “enjoy because she had little left.”

Mariana González told a television channel that her niece had told her father about this new threat from Chidichimo and said that last Friday she had planned to denounce him in court, but was murdered the day before.
According to the woman, the attacker “went directly to kill her”, and he had everything “premeditated” and “thought out”, to the point that “he did not have time to press the anti-panic button” that Rocío had as a result of the previous complaints that weighed on him.
