“All this media circus is irresponsible on his part. In his statements he speaks of his responsibility as mayor of Vicente López in the past, if it is in the past that he resigns,” Braiza said in statements to Radio Nacional.
The councilors of the FdT in Vicente López are going to make a formal request in the Deliberative Council to demand the resignation of the licensed mayor since he is campaigning to be head of government in the City of Buenos Aires.
“There is a bulky majority of Cambiemos and the alliance with the two seats of (the deputy José Luis) Espert. It has nothing to do with legislative formality, but with leaving established and make visible the madness they are doing and the mistreatment of neighbors,” explained Braiza.
In this sense, he recalled that Jorge Macri “He assumed the mayorship in 2019 and in December 2021 he took leave to start a career that would take him to the head of government of another jurisdiction.”
“He is changing positions. A couple of years ago he wanted to be governor and now head of government. They do not care about political representation and the link with the neighbors, only the business that they carry from one place to the other“, he warned.
And he added that if “Jorge Macri can show that he has lived in the City of Buenos Aires for five years, he let us down” by running for mayor in 2019.
“We want a municipality governed by people who love it, who seek to transform reality and that our neighbors are not abandoned by other personal interests,” he remarked.
