Photo: Twitter Four children were killed in a kindergarten from southern Brazil by a 25-year-old man who entered the place with an ax and turned himself in to the police after committing the massacre, authorities reported.
Santa Catarina state governor Jorginho Mello said the attack occurred at a private nursery and kindergarten called Cantinho do Bom Pastor, in Blumenau, one of the most important cities in that region of Brazil border with Argentina.
Several media reported that the murderer is 25 years old and entered the place by climbing a wall and carrying a small ax with which he carried out the massacre.

The parents of the surviving children went to the establishment to remove the other children, amid a state of general shock.
The Globonews chain indicated that a medical center received injured children, but did not say how many.
In the place there were babies who had been left by their parents before go to work.
President Luiz Inácio Lula da SIlva expressed his solidarity with the families on social media.
“There is no greater pain than when a family loses a child or grandchild, even more so in an act against innocent and defenseless children.“said the president.

The attack occurred after a teenage student stabbed a teacher to death on March 28, injuring four other people, in a public school in the city of São Paulo.
