The mayor of General Roca, María Emilia Soria, was re-elected in that city with 34,903 votes in favor of the 58,600 votes counted, reported the Electoral Board of that Rio Negro district.
According to official data, a total of 58,600 votes were counted at the 245 polling stations, 69.4% of the list of 84,494 people authorized to elect mayor, councilors and members of the municipal Court of Accounts.
Of the 6 candidates and the 11 official lists, and with 100% of the polling stations, it was reported that the list 368 “Pasión por Roca”, from Mayor Soria, obtained 34,903 votes, 59.56% of the total polled.

List 169 of the official provincial party “Together We Are Río Negro” (JSRN), which promoted Carlos Banacloy, achieved 13,089 votes, 9.86%; the 429 “Cambia Roca”, headed by Gastón Soto, another 4,637 votes, 7.91%, and the 215 of “Popular Unity”, 2,076 votes, 3.54%.
Meanwhile, list 425 of the “Unidad Workers’ Left Front” got 1,079 votes -1.84%- and “MAS” 165 got 592 votes- 1.01% of the total.

For its part, collector list 153 of the “Movimiento Popular Patagonico” reached 4.74%, list 3 of the “UCR” got 3.29%, list 207 of “Redes” another 1.59% and payroll 206, of the “MaD”, 1.35%.
The blank votes were 693, 1.18%; the appealed 181, 0.31%; the contested ones 7, 0.01%, and the null ones 1,343, that is, 2.29%.
Thus, the Deliberative Council will be integrated by “Pasión por Roca” with seven seats and by JSRN with one seat.

The local Court of Accounts will be made up of the three places obtained by the winning list.
