The national deputy for the Front of All (FdT) Eduardo Valdés affirmed this Thursday that the image of President Alberto Fernández and Vice President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner generated “great pride” during the inauguration of the 141st regular session of the National Congress and considered that there had been “great honesty” by the president before the Legislative Assembly.
“What I rescued the most from yesterday is the united Front of All (FdT). The image of the President and the Vice President presiding over the Legislative Assembly made me very proud,” Valdés said in statements to Futurock online radio.
In this sense, the legislator maintained that he felt he was “before the best Alberto Fernández of all legislative openings” and stressed that the president “rendered an account of his three years in office.”
“I really liked the group of people specifically from each number that he gave about rights made. It seemed important to me that he take care that he was the one who led the request for impeachment to the Court,” he said.
In addition, he stressed that “the numbers provided by the President” on the achievements made during his administration “cannot be refuted by anyone.”
“He apologized for the things that are missing. The President’s words yesterday were very honest,” said Valdés, adding that he has “high expectations” for the work being carried out by the Minister of Economy, Sergio Massa. , to resolve inflation and anticipated that “the benefits will be seen in May.”
“What I rescued the most from yesterday is the united Front of All (FdT). The image of the President and the Vice President presiding over the Legislative Assembly made me very proud,” said Valdés.
“I don’t think it was a farewell speech. Now, Alberto will not be an impediment if there is someone who measures better than him. He has told me privately and publicly,” he stressed.
In this context, he considered that if Cristina (Fernández de Kirchner) wants to run in the next elections “she has every right” and that she will “work until the last day so that she is not banned.”
The judicial power
Valdés also maintained that it was “important” that the President stated that justice “has to stop archiving files that involve members of Together for Change (JxC) and that he speak “of the assault on the Judicial Council in front of the two responsible judges”, in reference to Horacio Rosatti and Carlos Rosenkrantz.
In this way, the legislator referred to the members of the Court who were present yesterday when the President spoke before the Legislative Assembly, and who, together with Juan Carlos Maqueda and Rosatti, are facing a request for impeachment that is currently being processed in a House Commission of Deputies.
“Things like this are not going to stay (in the Council of the Magistracy). Either we produce a parliamentary agreement or it will have to be done by DNU. This that was done cannot be allowed, but we will always do things within the law,” he completed. Valdes.
