Claudio “Chiqui” Tapia, assured today that there are not 26 footballers summoned for the albiceleste squad, but an entire country “behind the same illusion”, after the officialization of the list of the Argentine team for the Qatar World Cup, in which he will debut on Tuesday 22 against Saudi Arabia, for Group C.

Tapia, who is in the United Arab Emirates along with the Argentine delegation awaiting next Wednesday’s friendly against the local team, was enthusiastic in the days leading up to the world competition.
Along these lines, Tapia told Radio Miter on Thursday that “we feel the same as everyone in front of the World Cup. We want Argentina to do well. Argentina today has a selection for eight or ten more years. We know the hopes and we all have them… the group that was formed excites us all. I hope we have the World Cup we want, for all of us”.

The team led by Lionel Scaloni will debut on Tuesday the 22nd against Saudi Arabia, starting at 7:00 a.m. (Argentine time), and will continue on Saturday the 26th against Mexico (4:00 p.m.) and on Wednesday the 30th will conclude against Poland (4:00 p.m.).
